I was planning on writing about Human Trafficking today. Or sharing my English Essay on Human Trafficking with you but I am leaving that for another day.

These Easter Holidays I have been focusing very much on things that I love to do. During term time, I get stressed. Really really stressed 24/7 and I thought I would give myself at least a week to try and relax. No studying has been accomplished this week. I feel guilty, honestly. In my head I’m like “but what if studying this week would make a big difference for my exams” or “What if I go back to school and everyone has done ten times more work than me” or “What if the teacher is disappointed in me”. BUT I have decided that I want to have some time to do things other than school. Life isn’t just about school after all. And next week, I will study.

So

I was a runner. School interhouse games – I was there. Sports day – my favourite.
I know, I’m laughing inside too. I barely do ANY sports now. No, lets rephrase that, I DO ZERO SPORTS. We can keep laughing about this.. but I was the second fastest girl in Primary School and the fastest girl in High School ( I caught up with my competition lol). It got to the point in church sports days where I would win but they would let someone else win because it wasn’t fair apparently. Which as you can imagine, me as an 11 year old, I was not happy. But all of that doesn’t really matter, the moral of the story is that I forgot how much I miss running.

I went to the gym yesterday. Which was scarier than I thought it would be. I was really nervous for reasons I won’t bore you with but I really liked it. I haven’t been the the gym in probably almost exactly a year and it felt good to go back. I never run on the tredmills because it makes me really anxious but yesterday I went at a time when not many people go to the gym and I went in knowing that I wanted to run again and it was so good. Its hard to describe, but the feeling of running, I just love.

Another thing that I have been doing because I love it, is art. Specifically word art though. I have never actually really gotten into this type of art but I follow quite a few people on Instagram who have real talents for it and I wanted a way to remember all of these inspirational quotes that I like so I thought this might be the perfect way.

I Love What I’m Scared Of.

I just came home. Drenched and cold. Do you ever have those days where you just need to go for a walk? yup.. well maybe when its nice weather. It was pouring but I still went. Jacket on, non-waterproof shoes on, headphones in and of I went. I knew where I was going. I was going to one of my favorite places, the garden. Many of you might know where it is but I don’t really tell many people. Many.. as in 1. The good thing about going for walks in the rain is that no one is around. Its peaceful. The sound of the rain is peaceful and my music makes me happy. I can sing aloud till my hearts content and that’s what I did. I just needed to think and have space to think and to pray. I had a little outburst at God this evening.. I said to him “God, do you know how much I want to go to IHOP Uni?! Can you not just show me what to do!”

Your probably a tad confused at the moment? Well, IHOP is the International House Of Prayer in Kansas city, America. America!! They have a University which includes an Academy of Ministry, an Academy of Music and others.

Academy of Music… where you don’t need to be a certain level to attend.. ‘FMA (Forerunner Music Academy) is geared to take the one who knows nothing to being able to be proficient in the instrument they choose.’ Perfect. More than perfect. They have such a heart for their students. To help people influence the world. Because we are more powerful than we think we are in Christ.

You guys know how much I love music and how much I want to try my hardest to pursue music. Its the thing that scares me most. Getting up there and leading worship. I can’t harmonize to save my life so I prefer leading.. My friend once said to me ‘If God wasn’t with you, He wouldn’t give you the last bit of courage to get up there and do it.’ I worry and worry and then when I’m actually worshiping it is my favorite place in the whole world. Seriously. I love it more than I’m scared of it and I never want to leave. Its actually quite difficult to worship while you lead. That’s something I need to work on too and I really want to go to IHOP to learn, to discover and to grow in a country I never stop talking about. Like ever.

I just don’t know.. I mean, maybe God does want me to pursue Music but maybe its not at IHOP. It would be awesome if it was but I am struggling to figure out what to do. I mean, Gods going to have to hurry up because if I do go to IHOP then I’ll need to start fundraising extremely soon. God always provides though so I shouldn’t worry about that. I just want to know whether its the right thing because ‘God doesn’t plant a desire in someones heart that he doesn’t plan to fulfill.’ Right?

I can’t remember all the encouraging things people have said to me.. but some are:

” You are going to influence the world.” (this one.. I was like, wow. I was really really young when someone told me this at church so that is just the gist of what she said to me. How am I going to influence the world? through music or something else?)

“I can tell your a musician. You sing everywhere.”

“You really blessed me with that song.”

“I can tell you have a real desire for it and your heart is in the right place for it.”

And, I only have the guitar I have because the person that gave it to me felt that God wanted him to give it to me..

So, these are my prayers just now. Please pray for clarity and provision in the way God leads me. Thank you my lovelies.

Today was the second last day of school. I am excited for the holidays but kind of sad because I am loving my new classes. At 12 everybody went home and quit a few came back for 2pm for prize giving. It was so formal. There were flowers set out and we all had to stand when the guest came on and the teachers were on chairs on the stage. As you can imagine it was boring after a while but I was happy to get my book. I brought my brother along and he saw some of his teachers and talked to them afterwards.

All the prize winners sat at the bottom section of the Assembly hall and we all had to shuffle along when each person was going up to get their prize. We were all dressed so smartly and luckily it all went well(:

The highlight was getting a strawberry tart afterwards 😀 And having my book!
Timmy was talking to some of his teachers and some of his teachers are my teachers so he asked them how I was getting on 😀 It’s funny to listen to them chat away. Anyway, tomorrow  is the last day of school and I am trying to figure out if we have to wear school uniform or not. Everybody I’ve asked said we don’t so I guess their right 🙂 “Vlogblog” will come soon 🙂

Here is my new book:

Today I had my last exams. I have 10 days off school. Amazing. Then, I start 5th year. Even more amazing.

At 12.30 I came to Becca’s and we walked into town. We had lunch at “Girvans”

image

Then we took a stroll round some shops. This hat created great amusement for me so Becca took a picture and we both had a laugh…

image

funny right? 😀 we think so.
We also went to Costa to buy coolers to of course cool us down (yes! it was that warm in Scotland) At Morrison’s we remembered to buy milk other wise there would have been no tea and that alone would have been a disaster! Becca also bought some ingredients for Fajitas.
At home we relaxed for a while with tea, music, and our high tech technology 😀
ohh I forgot to add… we were away for couple of hours and this is what we came home to!!

image

yes.
There is poo up the cupboard.
yes.
There is the a emptied bin with all sorts sprawled around the kitchen and half way around the dining area.
and yes.
There is pee all over the floor.

And of course we came home to an innocent dog pretending that he didn’t do anything at all but knowing he was bad and trying to look cute. As always:-)  He was cute. He was bad. So this resulted in him staying in the garden for a while Becca and I took the liberty of cleaning and hoovering. On top of this, Soli’s food was forgotten at our friends so he’s been banging on his bowl all day.

Anyway, then we ate Fajitas,

and finished of with “Little Pots of Joy.” delicious.
So, our day was filled with Mexican food, laughs and fun. It’s one of those day’s where we have done so much and its not even 18.30 yet. It was good day!

1. Invigilators with Heals – stomp stomp stomp *pause to look around* stomp stomp. I think they just pace up and down and in their heals, boy that is annoying.

2. When someone has a cold – I just feel like shouting “Dude….. actually just go and get a tissue!!” 😀 sadly they’d rip our paper up for doing that.

3. Being the first finished – Just sitting there resorting to talking to the wall until you hear the creek of someone else’s chair. That’s your que to leave too.

4. When people have blunt pencils – have you ever sat next to someone when they are writing in a blunt pencil? It’s the most off putting thing ever!

5. The speedy one that happens to sit near you – All you hear are pages turning and constant writing and your sitting there like, ehh I’m no where near done.. how can you be so fast? So nerve racking.
