It is 9.30pm. I have just finished doing some preparation for a Modern Studies NAB tomorrow. I had already done it but I have to add some more information in.. because.. well.. I didn’t really answer the question. This topic only took one week. For the last topic I passed my NAB with no problems but I misunderstood this question. Anyway, I had been trying to google examples of violent and non-violent action by pressure groups probably for the last 3 hours. Even now, I don’t have a clue if I have been doing it right. My solution is just to go and ask my teacher in the morning. As you can probably imagine, I am now so tired and have wanted to go to sleep for the last hour. I am so tired.

First though, I had to read my friend’s blog post. She wrote about how she was excited to have a domino’s pizza waiting for her when she returned home after a busy day in Perth for work. Which is quit a long drive for one day, in the snow. Yes! side note, it snowed this morning. How excited I was!! Shouting around the house just to make sure everybody knew that Inverness looked like a winter wonderland. As well as that, I walked into registration this morning shouting to my regi teacher while my immensely heavy bag was thrown onto the table (she is quite used to her tea being spilled and paper work flying everywhere by now because of my heavy bag, it does make her laugh so its all good) shouting “Mrs Rathbone, its snowing!! Its snowing!!” Yep. I did that.

To the point of this blog post, just now as I sit on the floor worrying that i have spent 3 hours researching the wrong things and worrying that I haven’t even started memorizing what I need to know but only shrunk it down to bullet points and high- lighting that I am going to Hamburg in a couple of weeks. Now, THAT is something to look forward to. Especially since we have an itinerary that we are most likely going a head with.. its is so exciting. I have never been to Hamburg before. The places that I am most excited for are, sightseeing in central Hamburg, Chocolate museum, Christmas parade, Christmas markets, mini wonderland and of course shopping. There are other things such as a boat cruise, a couple of more museums etc but those are the ones that I am most looking forward to. I can not wait!

In the mean time, I pray I pass this NAB! haha…
Goodnight.

His Righteousness.

We always think we’re right but truly It doesn’t matter to us. It matters to Him.

It’s not about one another it’s about what God thinks. In fact, there are none righteous… We are all wrong.

1 john vs 1 chapter 2: Jesus Christ the righteous one. He is righteous in mind, body and spirit. We were brought into this earth unrighteous but with Jesus we are righteous. Everybody new Jesus lived a righteous life even if they didn’t want to believe it. We don’t deserve to be in his presence. Even the religious authorities realized Jesus’s righteousness. They didn’t want to but they did. The authorities wanted to catch Jesus out but Jesus didn’t say anything wrong.

They tried to catch Jesus out with the situation of a woman who committed adultery but again Jesus said the right things.

When the crucifixion came, because they couldn’t find fault they got false prophets. There is no fault in him. He is always holy. Always. This Jesus Holy, righteous. Even in the powers of darkness he was righteous and holy. Jesus Christ of Nazareth the Holy one. The holy one of God. Even the powers of darkness know the righteousness of Jesus.

Jesus rose from the grave because he was always righteous. Jesus was pleased with his boy because he is perfect.

Our minds are merky. If you looked into the mind of Jesus there would not be one blemish. What about words? We have merky words and thoughts too. If you read you wouldn’t find one word out of place. sometimes our judgments are so out of order but Jesus’s judgments are spot on. because he see’s the whole picture.

We shouldn’t live in guilt of the past. His will be The Lord Our Righteousness.

Before accepting Jesus we have guilt and sin. He takes our burden away when we come to the cross to accept him. Then the righteousness of Jesus has come. God wants to save you and because of this he clothes us in garments white as snow.

The lord is our righteousness.

This morning I decided to go alone. I was always with people so I wanted to look around myself. Oma Rita dropped me off in a place called Schongau and I spent a little while looking round and I found some nice things 🙂 I have always wanted a ring with leaves and a New york top so I am super chuffed!! One of the 2 scarves I bought yesterday but the other one I found for 3 euros!! bargin! I got the bus back because the trains weren’t running for some reason and got back to Peiting. I was a bit scared that I’d get of at the wrong stop because there is Peiting North and East so I was saying the whole way there is my head “Peiting Ost Lisa Peiting Ost!” Other wise I might have been walking for a while. But I got there. In time for Coffee and Cake. You know parents… my dad even gave me his mobile so I could text or call and then when I turned up before everyone else on the dot he was like “WOW!” so.. I think I proved him that I can manege to travel myself 😀 Its 11pm and I am sitting here packing. Trying to fit everything in my hand luggage suit case. It’s not going very well. But it will all go in. Somehow. I am so sad that I am already leaving!! I want to stay here forever but then I think about home and that I’m not going to have the friends here that I have back home. I don’t miss people that easily to be honest but only being away for 5 days makes me miss Becca, Rachi and Peta more! Hopefully the car will be fixed for when we get back because I really want to go to New Hope!! I haven’t done any studying while here (typical of me) so I will have to do past papers next week 😦 Dull!I just can’t wait for Summer now! 3 weeks of sun.. and my cousins will be here and my friends:) So much fun!!

Today my Dad and I went down to check out the new lake they were working on when we were here in the Summer. It’s almost finished. They just want to make a place to play Volley Ball. We went back up to Oma Ritas and she make me Pfannen Kuchen suppe. Which is pancake soup. Now everyone will be say “ewwww, yuck!!” but it’s something that is normal over here and it’s so yummy!! As you can see in the 3rd picture we left the men and decided to go shopping. I bought presents for people and one of them I really want but I can’t have it 😦 We went to a place called Kempten which has a shopping with 3 floors and loads of shops. It’s good to go somewhere where we have none of the shops otherwise it’s just the same all the time. In the evening we went to a Bavarian restaurant for my Uncle’s birthday. I had something called Kasespatzen. It’s got lots of cheese. We had a good day:)

New Hope – How to Deal with Stress

bible, concentration, Dedication, friends, God, Hope, Identity, jesus, Journaling, Joy, life, love, meditation, music, New Hope, Oragnisation, peace, prince, purpose, realaxation, recreation, snow, tea

After my 13 year old friend went to the Kids Church I sat with tea and a pen and journal at the ready. This week I have been stressed with school and Avon as I emailed my friend. So I was all ears.
Ahhh its snowing!!!(a bit) This is great.. music, tea, snow and blogging! Perfect.
Secrets of Stress Free Living
1. Know who you are. It is the principle of identification.
John 8:12 “When Jesus spoke again to the people, He said, ‘I am the light of the wold. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness for they have the light of life’.”
Life can be stressful. Jesus had enormous stress that would cause any of us to cave in but Jesus was always calm. If you don’t know who you are people will try and tell you who you are. You will allow people to manipulate you. We wear a mask. You know who you are when you know WHOSE you are. WE are put into the world for a reason. He has a plan for all of us.
2. Know who you are trying to please. The principle of Dedication.
John 5:30. “By myself I can do nothing. I judge only as I hear and my judgment is just for I seek not to please Myself but him who sent me.”
Know who you are dedicated to. You can’t please everybody. As soon as you please one group of people they will soon be once again displeased.
JESUS can’t even please everybody! You don’t need to please everybody.
If you don’t know who you are trying to please you will be stressed. You will give in to competition, criticism and conflict if you don’t know who you want to please. If it pleases God, it is the right thing. When you know who you are it reduces pressure.
3. Know what you want to accomplish. The principle of organization.
John 8:14. “Jesus answered, ‘Even if I testify on My own behalf, my testimony is valid. I know where I came from and I know where I’m going.'”
You have to plan your life. Jesus had a plan. He followed it all the way to Calvary. Have priorities. If you don’t set what you want to do for life then others will do it for you. You’ve got to plan! Have you accomplished anything today? Ask yourself. Preparation causes us to be at ease. Preparation reduces stress. Having clear goals simply simplifies life. Take time to pray to God. Think, is this actually how I want to spend the next day? The next 24 hours of my life.
4. Focus on one thing at a time. The principle of concentration.
Luke 4: 42, 44. v.42 “At daybreak, Jesus went out to a solitary place. The people were looking for him and when they came to Him where He was, they tried to keep Him from leaving.” He was going to leave, but they tried to keep him from leaving. “But He said, ‘I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also because that’s why I was sent.'” v 44 “And he kept right on preaching in the synagogues of Judea.”
He didn’t allow himself to be distracted from what God wanted him to do. He concentrated on it. Everyone was trying to trick him. Jesus was a master of concentration and focusing on the goal. When we do too many things we get confused.
(Went to the bathroom.. then I saw a friend that I haven’t seen in 2 years so we were talking for a while but I will write you the given notes  for number 5 and some of 6)

5. You don’t try to do it all yourself. Mark 3:14
“Jesus went up into the hills, and called to Him those He wanted and they came to Him. He appointed twelve, designating them apostles that they might be with Him and that He might send them to preach.”

6. Make a habit of personal prayer. The principle of meditation.
Mark 1:35. “Very early in the morning while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went out to solitary place where He prayed.”
Be still and know that I am God. Prayer releases stress in the morning. When you hear/see bad news that gives you stress. We have our own problems and we’re bogged down with other peoples stress. Instead, go to the author of good news.
7. Take time off to enjoy life. The principle of relaxation and recreation.
Mark 6:30 “The apostles gathered around Jesus and reported to Him all they had done and taught. Then because so many people were coming and going and they didn’t even have a chance to eat, Jesus said to them (the twelve disciples) Come with Me by yourselves to a quit place and get some rest.”
You know you are  busy when you don’t even have enough time to eat (Unless your on a diet 😀 ) Jesus could handle stress because he knows how to rest and just talk to God. God has designed you to have rest. You need time to talk and enjoy life. Jesus survived stress because he enjoyed life.People say Christians are boring. Its the EXACT opposite! We are excited about what God has planned for us. Jesus was probably the most joyful person to hang around with. Balance is the key to stress management. Imagine what Gods plans are for you. “Its better to have loved and lost then never to have loved before”. It’s true. You must focus on one thing at a time. Make a habit of personal prayer. Take time for yourself. Have fun! “Come unto those who are wearied and burdened”.
Give your stress and give your life to God. He is the Prince of Peace. There is no way to live without stress without the Prince of Peace. “I want to give you rest”. ” I want to give you inner peace”. You can overcome stress with the Prince of Peace. The world is trying to live without the one who made us. Without the Prince of Peace.

What do you need? You need transformation. You need to be born again. A new way of living. Let God transform you from the inside out. You start to see things differently. Who are you? You are Gods child. He made YOU for a purpose. You are unique. There is no one else like you. Relax and be yourself. If you don’t know your purpose, spend time with Him. It will become clear. Don’t worry about tomorrow, focus on today. Commit to spending time with God. Tell him your stress, take time to enjoy life. “I will give you rest.” He says. We need  peace instead of our pressure. We need him to be the manager of our life. We are loved by him.

My short notice holiday is coming faster!! Its now only 11 day’s until I head of to Germany. I am so excited. If I were 8 years old I would have been packed 3 weeks ago. Now I pack a week before because I like to be organized 🙂 I just hope next week goes as fast as this week… it’s nearly April!! Where in the world has this month gone? There are only 8 months left in this year! wow. I will take you all with me on my travels (as always). This holiday in Germany won’t be as interesting as going to Germany in the summer because in the summer my friends and cousins are there and there is lots more to do but who would say no to a holiday? not me! I can’t wait to go. I just checked the weather and next Saturday (30th of March) the lowest temperature is -2 and highest is 16 but since it forcasted for snow today I really don’t think it will get to 16. So I better pack my wooly hat and cosy jumpers. Germany, here I come 😀

Today I started my morning at 6am and got super excited about the snow! I wasn’t so excited when I had to clean the car and I pretty much brushed the snow on to me instead of the car:D School was not to bad today actually. Although I forgot I have a Biology prelim tomorrow:/ I was silly enough to forget my inhaler and on the way home for school ohh you should have see me. I could hardly breath and with a heavy bag it does not help.. I just made it to my dads where luckily he had his inhaler in the kitchen so I took that. What a relief! I watched some I HOP live 🙂 Some people are in America right now!!! Lucky! 🙂 It was so good to watch. I decided to go to youth tonight even though they are doing my worst night mare… Drama! Well, I’m just going to watch, there is not way I’m doing it haha 😀 That was my day 🙂

Today I am going home again. It always goes too fast!! It’s 09.30 and I am sitting on my laptop while my brother is sleeping ( As usual:D) My dad is picking me up at lunch time so I think I am still having lunch here then going home. This morning I will probably do more Japanese. Yesterday at Costa I wrote out Hiragana and how to remember them. I know some but I still have a long way to go. Yesterday I memorized my German which did as I said take 2 minutes to that wasn’t a problem 🙂 Tonight we have our church thing so I will probably go to that 🙂 And then that’s the weekend over. So fast! Ohh it might snow here today!!! I really hope it does… I get so excited 😀
