( I just copied this from my About Me page on here. I have gotten a bit carried away. I really need to sleep now… Oh gosh, I hope I don’t sleep through my alarm? That would be an utter disaster let me tell you. Ok, goodnight!)

I never know how to write these things. Like ever. I mean, what do you write? It’s so awkward. Oh dear, I’m just making this even more awkward, aren’t I?

Well, I’m an 18 year old girl studying Music at College in a big city writing about the musings of college life, trying to eventually have a music career, living in a building with over 100 other students and reading books.

And in case you care, here are a couple of things you might want to know 🙂

  1. You guessed it. I’m at Music College.
  2. I’m vegetarian.
  3. I’m a cat person.
  4. I love to sing and play my guitar. And pretend I can play keyboard.
  5. I love a good brew and will most likely have my nose stuck in a book while drinking it.
  6. I speak German (It’s actually my first language.. I don’t tell people that though so I hope you can keep secrets.)
  7. Travelling is my thing.
  8. I want a tattoo on my wrist saying ‘One Day At A Time’ maybe I’ll share the story behind it one day. Or maybe not.
  9. I read my bible everyday and take quotes from it to stick on my wall. I’m a Christian which basically means I love you and Jesus.
  10. I’m stressed and anxious 24/7. Like, my heart is pounding just writing this. This is meant to be relaxing. Calm. Down.

I’m okay, really.
Happy reading (well I can’t promise it’ll all be happy. Ok, I think I can go now.)

Much love,
Lisa

Musical Monday – New Genre.

I know I am a day late on posting this but that is purely because I was still writing about my holiday yesterday. I just wanted to tell you that I found a new music genre that I like. Its strange and I don’t know anyone who listens to it, I don’t think. It is Electric Celtic. Which is basically instruments such as violins combined with today’s modern music. Such as drums and guitars. I think it is so cool 😀

Yesterday I was scrolling down my Facebook news feed (as you do) and came across a song that someone had shared from Soundcloud so I listened to it and went on her Soundcloud profile. By accident I clicked on someone she was also following and it’s this person right here: https://soundcloud.com/weestudio Personally I like the piece Cardiac Ceilidh.

These songs don’t have any words so I think for reading or studying at times when I just can’t concentrate with my usual music with words, I can listen to this. I mean, we all know what it’s like. You are trying to study and a song comes on that you know all the words to and with in a few seconds your singing along and some how have ended up not doing much. To busy singing. That is what happens to me anyway 😀 I’m sure I’m not the only one.

I just thought his ‘wee studio’ music was pretty clever and cool. Maybe I’m weird 😀 oh well!

As you can see  I’m a day late with this post. Better late than never right?

So yesterday was fun. I had been begging my dad to go back to Staffel See and we went back with our Scottish friends and their cousins. We of course took the boats and went paddling. I rowed to the Island and we explored a little and swam. We also explored the other side of the lake where they had a tampoline in the water. A water proof big inflatable trampoline.

After having a bite to eat in the Beergarden we took a walk to the near by town called Üffing. I still remember it from the last time I came.

Sammy, Euan and I walked back together and watching Sophie pat a cow we thought why not. Not the best idea. If the fence wasn’t there I think it would’ve attacked us haha!

In the evening we went to play mini golf and to a Pizza Place. It was wonderful but sadly we missed the sunset.
