Being With My Best Friends :D

Today was the day we headed for a deliciously wonderful Dores Breakfast. As always, it didn’t let us down. Most of us had French Toast with Maple Syrup and Bacon. I don’t like bacon and never have (as far as I can remember) and its Vegetarian week so I just order it for Rachael or Rachaels brother who is always delighted when I don’t finish my French Toast and Bacon lol!! Anyway, it was wonderful and I even tasted the highly loved Banana and Strawberry smoothie. Love it! Before having our breakfast we took Soly for walk along the beach. It was cold, to say the least. I was definitely not particularly dressed for the freezing weather. I was wearing a dress. Not the best of ideas. But the faithful Peta and Maria were prepared with a jumper and jacket that kept me looking hilarious but lovely and warm 🙂

We returned back to the Finlaysons house for tea and I hanged out with Rachael for a but while Becca was picking up her new car!! It’s SO cool… and she’s an awesome driver 😀 I love your car Becca! 😀 Afterwards, while Rachael was hanging out with her school friends, Becca, Peta and I went into town for a Costa, to cut some keys and Becca bought some beautiful blue vans. This is when I really wish I was a size 5. No one is size 6! We had a funny experience cutting the keys where Peta thought that it would take an hour or two until he’d finished but with in the space of 20 seconds he’d already finished. Peta was absolutely astounded which made the key cutters day haha!

We met up with Peta’s parents and ate dinner in a restaurant. Rachael and I shared a plate of Nachos… You’ll see how big it is in the pictures but seriously how could even 5 people eat all that! I think we should of got a small portion and shared it. It was yummy though! They even soled Ginger Beer which was ace!!
Lastly, as it is Saturday night we went to Coffee Affair where some of our church play music. It was really fun, especially because we got to embarrass Rachael by dancing around the street. And it was worth it because people in the streets started going into the Cafe. Great! 🙂 Now, I am tired and Rachael is staying at mine overnight 🙂 I will leave you with some pictures:

God of Peace.

First of all, today we reunited with Peta after her being on her Summer travels for a couple of months. She gave us a couple of gifts and I can truly say I am stoked 😀 I am still laughing at these Japanese socks 😀 I think I am known (just a little) for wearing pumps and socks when I have cold feet or even flip flops with socks. Now, this will not be a problem! Take a look at these… 😀
Image

I missed Peta. I’m glad she is back 🙂 We went to see Percy Jackson (I think that is what its called..) it was SO good! I might read the books because I want to find out what happens next! I did get into it and started to talk to the cinema screen thinking they’d hear the strict instructions I was giving them 😀 It was good and as always we had wonderful music playing in Peta’s car. I did miss that!  And my wrist is now filled with beautifully cute bracelets from Rachael for doing well in my exams, how sweet! :’) I love them!!

Yes, now I will address the actual title which is ‘God of Peace’. Today in church we were talking about Peace. Peace that God gives and peace that the world gives. Two that are very different. Let me give sort of a funny example: When a police man drives behind you in their car with flashing lights I don’t know about you but I automatically check that I look tall enough to sit in the front seat (Yep! I must be that small) and that my seat belt is on show for all to see. We have 1000 questions running through our mind. If we do not have peace with a police officer who knows so little about us, how will we feel and react when we meet with God who knows everything about us?
Its true though right.

God wants to give us peace forever. Alcohol or badly worded music can give us peace for a little while but not for long.
If you want to know the peace of God, you need to know the peace with God..

As Christians, we can know the peace of God.

In Lukes Gospel, it tells us about some that lost their faith. They lost their faith because they weren’t listening, looking or learning.
You can retain your peace if you are standing on the promises of God.

They were looking but they were not seeing. We look at Jesus so we can follow His example. Jesus is our example.

They lost their peace because they were not learning. We should learn everyday about the greatness of God. We should know Him more.

He is walking with us during problems or difficult situations we have. Be anxious for nothing but make your request know and have peace in the Lord 🙂

And here we are, reunited and looking even more ridiculous than ever 😀

50 facts about me, artists, Arts, blog, church, cities, clothes, comments, country, crafts, daily blogging, daily post, design, faith, fashion, fashion trends, feed back, Friday, German, German language, God, guitar, Hope, ideas, inspirational, inspire, instruments, jesus, journeys, Learning, life, London, love, music, music artists, Musical, new buys, paintings, photography, pictures, quotes, random, scrapbooking, shops, singing, songs, Sunday, tag, thankful, town, travel, travelling, world, world tour, world travel, worship

On one of my favorite blogs I saw the idea of having a post structure. This structure combined with her ideas were, I thought, extremely cool! I’ve decided that I want to try it out; I’m not saying that I will do this forever (unless I really love it!!). I want to see how it goes. So, I have made my own ‘structure’. I’m not going to do this for everyday of the week because I also like to have my random ramblings 😀 also where I focus also more on faith and the sermons from Friday’s and Sundays church 🙂 Here’s what I’ve come up with for the rest of the week:

Musical Mondays 😀
Here I’d like to with you a song or lyrics I love, what instrument(s) I’d like to learn, why I learn guitar, my playlist, new found songs, re-discovered songs, inspirational artists etc 🙂

Designer Dienstag.
I know, ‘Dienstag’ isn’t English; it’s German – I wanted it to have a ‘D’ in it. It means Tuesday in German 😀 Anyway, I have said earlier in my blog that I love to arrange flowers.. for some strange reason. I also love anything to do with design such as, scrapbooking and art. So I’d like to post any art that I love, my scrapbook pages and the stories behind them, any art given to me and also quotes I like 🙂

Travelling Thursday.
I love to travel! I’d love to go on a world tour. For these posts I’d like to share travels that I have been on and places that I want to visit. Including pictures of course!

Fashion Friday.
Here will be any new buys, fashion trends, outfits I like, anything to do with fashion 😀 I love clothes 😀

So that’s it! As you can see I have left Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday for my random ramblings 🙂 And of course I can always do 2 posts in a day in case I have the urge to tell you something 😀 I am going to Germany TOMORROW!:D So I will probably start this structure when I come home because I want to focus on telling you about Germany and giving you some good pictures 🙂 Be sure to tell me in the comments what you think of my ideas 🙂

Last night one of my pretend sisters stayed at my house. We went for a cycle and had a mini picnic (Of course with Ginger Beer!) and then it was getting late so we thought… Why not just stay over? So we came home and I played a little guitar and then we watched ‘Valentines Day’. Today, we went to Avimore. My brother met his friend to climb a mountain with him so Rachael and I went exploring. First, we came to the beach and the Boathouse Cafe was indeed open and had free wifi! Win!! Then, we went to the beach but got a bit cold after a while and resorted to having a look around the shops in Avimore and having even more ginger beer 😀 Here are some pictures:) I have cold which is probably from the beach so I’m going to end this post here and just let you have a look at pictures because we all love pictures, right?

ImageImageImageImage

But then.. it got cold 😦 Image

So we wrapped ourselves up in a picnic blanket 😀
Image

It was such a good day though!! When the sun appeared again we took that opportunity to longboard a little while waiting for my brother. It was a good day!!

The One Day I Don’t Wear Flip Flops.

The one day I don’t wear flip flops it’s the warmest day of the year.
On Saturday we had a birthday celebration for my friend who turns 14 this Wednesday. It was a fun packed day!!
First, we went a a beauty salon to get our eyebrows waxed. Normally this would be fun to go to a beauty salon. Yes, it was for everyone else who had got their eye brows waxed before but I hadn’t so it was painful. But I’m happy now and it was funny afterwards when we all hid behind sunglasses shamed by our red skin. We then went to Tesco to get some food for going to the beach.

I did not expect it to be this warm… saying that I wear flip flops in the rain but I didn’t on Saturday. Doesn’t make sense. It was OK though because the beach is best in bare feet. Or as I say “Let’s wear our bare feet to the beach.”
It was a beautiful day. After a while we went to Outfit to try on clothes. This is where three friends being the same cloth size comes in handy. We are known for taking a bunch of clothes and throwing them over the changing cubicles to try all sorts on. My wonderful friend surprised Rachael and I with gifts. She gave me a beautiful dress that I tried on in Topshop and really loved and Rachael shoes that she also loved. The dress is now my favorite ever and I’ve decided to be the first probably ever to wear a dress into an exam but I’m doing it 😀 maybe not with flip flops though 😀

At four o’clock we picked Becca up from the train station and got ready for going to Rajah for dinner. We wore our new outfits and enjoyed a delicious meal with lots of friends. Afterwards, we went to Coffee affair for a little while and then came back to Rachaels to stay over. It was so much fun and surprisingly we didn’t go to bed at 3am. We actually went to bed at about 12.30/1am. That’s quit an attachments considering there were 6 girls. We ending the evening by watching “Pitch Perfect” and eating more yummy food. It was a good day! 🙂 Here are some pictures.

And I also bought some shorts yesterday haha!

Yesterday I went with my friend to Aberdeen. It was so much fun… here are pictures!
we got on the train on time.. there was a bit of confusion. Our coach (coach B) wasn’t even attached to the rest of the train 😀 then we realized we were on the wrong end of the train haha!! ImageImage

When we arrived, we went straight in search for TGI Fridays for lunch.

Today was beautiful. It was such a nice day to travel to St Andrews! My mum and I arrived in St Andrews around one o’clock and decided to go to the beach. Timmy and I are still little kids at heart 😀 we played a game where you have to jump over the rock pools avoiding the lava (the water) don’t ask… Haha! Afterwards, we went into town and I showed my mum that gift shop. My favorite gift shop! my brother bought my mum a photo frame in there. How sweet! After a long day we were all hungry and then my mum went home. A while later Danny came. We watched a movie with him and ate pancakes and drank Yop (my brilliant idea:D, love Yop!) Danny went back to his room after leaving me with a whole load of games downloaded onto my tablet that I have no clue how to play. It was a fun day!

I always say that the days you think are going to be boring always turn out the best! Today was one if those days. I woke up knowing I had to tidy my bedroom, make lunch and do the washing. Doesn’t sound fun right? until… my beautiful fake sister texted me “What you up to today?? xxxxxxx” and then we ended up going to Costa and having s great chat:-) Afterwards, we met her mum at Anna’s house but they weren’t finished with Rachaels mums hair so Rachael and I had to amuse ourselves as Anna wasn’t there. It turned out well! We made friendship bracelets and anklets , painted our nails and had a delicious dinner! Coffee affair was on so we went. It was SO good!! People got up dancing and Emma was in such a good mood! Not that she’s not always in a good mood but seriously like making us laugh our heads off and she was bubbly and happy and it was so nice:) Here are loads of pictures from today.
