Today was another one of those wonderful days. Now… by the title you’ll already know but guess where we went for breakfast…. Dores!! For, of course, french toast.  We then went for a walk along the beach and Faith and I took a couple of snaps with our camera 😀 After fitting five girls into a folder filled car we arrived home extremely full but so ready to do a day of art day (you will see the results later 🙂 ) Then… we came home and Peta and I were singing in Japanese. It was great!! You speak Japanese? I hear you ask. Nope, but how to pronounce the words is underneath. Yes! How wonderful haha!!

OK, now some pictures 🙂

As you can see Rachael and I were cold…

Maybe Rachael more than others….

And here are the results of our paintings 🙂 I don’t have one of Rachaels because she isn’t finished but here are mine and Peta’s 🙂

God of Peace.

First of all, today we reunited with Peta after her being on her Summer travels for a couple of months. She gave us a couple of gifts and I can truly say I am stoked 😀 I am still laughing at these Japanese socks 😀 I think I am known (just a little) for wearing pumps and socks when I have cold feet or even flip flops with socks. Now, this will not be a problem! Take a look at these… 😀
Image

I missed Peta. I’m glad she is back 🙂 We went to see Percy Jackson (I think that is what its called..) it was SO good! I might read the books because I want to find out what happens next! I did get into it and started to talk to the cinema screen thinking they’d hear the strict instructions I was giving them 😀 It was good and as always we had wonderful music playing in Peta’s car. I did miss that!  And my wrist is now filled with beautifully cute bracelets from Rachael for doing well in my exams, how sweet! :’) I love them!!
Image

Yes, now I will address the actual title which is ‘God of Peace’. Today in church we were talking about Peace. Peace that God gives and peace that the world gives. Two that are very different. Let me give sort of a funny example: When a police man drives behind you in their car with flashing lights I don’t know about you but I automatically check that I look tall enough to sit in the front seat (Yep! I must be that small) and that my seat belt is on show for all to see. We have 1000 questions running through our mind. If we do not have peace with a police officer who knows so little about us, how will we feel and react when we meet with God who knows everything about us?
Its true though right.

God wants to give us peace forever. Alcohol or badly worded music can give us peace for a little while but not for long.
If you want to know the peace of God, you need to know the peace with God..

As Christians, we can know the peace of God.

In Lukes Gospel, it tells us about some that lost their faith. They lost their faith because they weren’t listening, looking or learning.
You can retain your peace if you are standing on the promises of God.

They were looking but they were not seeing. We look at Jesus so we can follow His example. Jesus is our example.

They lost their peace because they were not learning. We should learn everyday about the greatness of God. We should know Him more.

He is walking with us during problems or difficult situations we have. Be anxious for nothing but make your request know and have peace in the Lord 🙂

And here we are, reunited and looking even more ridiculous than ever 😀

Yesterday we headed back to Munich. There were still a couple of things I wanted todo before our holiday in Germany ends.
So, in heat of 30-35 degrees we went in the underground to arrive in Munich. Firstly, we got ourself lunch and then I really wanted to go up the Olympic Tower so we took the train 2 stops and we were there.

image

When we Arrived we were welcomed by music 😀 that made Munich sound like Italy!

image

So we walked to the tower..

image

And then there was a lift up. The lift was SO fast!:D and heres the view.. You can see everything

image

image

On our way back we stopped by a shopping centre because I needed to look for shoes.. I live in my fake toms and I am afraid they are dying so I needed new ones but I didn’t find any 😦 instead, I came home with this:

image

So pretty!! And only €10

As I told you the last time we were in Munich I really wanted to visit the Japanese Tea Garden. It just sounds so cool but we it was closed when we arrived so the outside is as good as we got.

That was the end of our day and I came home so tired.

Today we cought the train around 10am straight to Karlsplatz in Munich. I spent the train journey reading my book and finished it in a cafe we stopped by in while looking around. I love the book! I must say.. I cried. Lol!! It is unpredictable and there is always something going on which leads you chapter by chapter. I have now moved on to reading ‘The Help’ which I have heard is a good film.

image

image

image

Anyway, we had a look around Munich where there was a market on with loads of cute stalls (gift hint!) I bought a couple of things that I am jelous of because I just love things like this!

image

I also went into to Newyorker (my favorite) and found some wonder sunglasses. Blue.. Of course!

image

While walking around we saw many playing instruments in the middle of the city where they of course have a lot of tourists come to watch. These were my favorite!

image

There are so many pretty buildings which I captured on camera.

image

image

image

We also went through the VERY expencive street with all the shops selling bags for hundreds. Thousands. We didn’t go in. We just walked passed and headed for the “Englischer Garten” which is apparently where all the students go to study. It is the 2nd largerst garden in Munich or Germany. I forget. It is so pretty! Peta, there was also a Japanese Tea Garden!! But we didn’t have the chance to look there although I really wanted to!!:(

I had another lovely day. I always love going to Munich!

Hey everyone, so it is the 3rd of July now so it’s time for my June Instagram Update 🙂

This month I had a photo shoot with my brother 😀
ImageImage

Spent the day with my friend, Lucy. We went into town and to a concert in the evening. It was so much fun!! And, it only finished at about 11pm so I was half falling asleep by the time we walked out of the venue.
Image

Said goodbye so my wonderful friend who has left to go to Japan for a couple of months. I was given some beautiful paintings from her : )
ImageImageImage

Found some new songs 🙂 ‘Everything In Color’ by Ben Cantelon is so good! If you haven’t listened to it, you should. I love it!
Image

As you know, just before school ended we had prize giving. This was the book I chose and I haven’t even started it yet. I will!

Image

My brother has been working on the masterpiece of his pond. Looks really good doesn’t it?

Image
My friend gave me hair curlers!! 😀

Image

The holidays have begun!!

chat, Coffee, Etsy, evening, fashion, Hope, Japan, Japanese, Joy, laughter, life, London Fog, sister, Starbucks. Friends, tea

Suta-bucksu. Thats Japanese for Starbucks. That’s what we call it:) Starbucks is always a winner!! Today Peta and I went to drink Tea and Coffee and have a chat. It’s always good in a group of people, it’s so much fun! But it’s also good just to talk to one person(:
I had a Caramel Machiato (no clue how to spell it) sounds sort of posh right? well, it’s yummy! I can’t drink strong coffee at all but for me Latte’s and what I had today are good because they are full of milk or in this case caramel mmmm. Peta had a London Fog and a cinnamon swirl. So not predictable right?:D
We had a laugh, as you do and talked about everything:), we admired the pictures on the wall, looked at the most amazing website (Etsy), complained about the hail stones and laughed some more!(:
It was good, it’s great to have a proper chat 🙂

Here is a London Fog, looks delicious right? ohh but do you see the string of the Tea Bag? :O never do that! Apparently, it just ruins the froth if you take it out and if you leave it in it doesn’t taste right. You can’t win. I just thought it’s funny how Peta knows exactly how she likes her beloved London Fog 😀 😉

birds, craft shop, Hope, Japan, Japanese, laughter, love, Maths, Movie, peace, St Andrews, Starbucks, vintage

It’s 10am and as always on a Saturday morning when I come to St Andrews I go to Starbucks or Costa. Today I am in Starbucks (for the internet of course) and I have a Vanilla Latte because it is just SO cold and windy outside!

This morning I woke up at 7.50 (to be exact) and I got ready but it is so hard for me to be quit in the morning and Timmy just wakes up at the slightest sound so knowing me, I probably woke him up. Oh well. Last night I got to St Andrews at about 7.30 and had to tidy Timmy’s room 😀 and then we watched “Perks of being a Wallflower” with Danny (Timmy’s friend) It was actually really good, or I thought so. Then, they had to help me with maths. I am just useless when it comes to maths… I still don’t know how to do long division.. when I do long division there are rows and rows of numbers because I have no clue how to do it the quick way so I’m just sitting there for days. They taught me Scientific Notation. Sounds confusing, I know, I thought so too. But it’s actually not that bad 😛 Then, I went to bed.

I have no clue what I am doing apart from going to lunch at 12.00 and then probably doing work. it has to be done. I have a German talk to memorize which will take 2 minuets and then do some Japanese and write in my journal 🙂 You don’t get dinner at the weekends so we will probably go to the noodle bar(: yum yum yum 🙂

That’s what I’m up to today, Have a great day!

p.s totally forgot it was mothers day today. So i took a trip to the my favorite craft shop!! And bought her 2 things. I will put pictures up 🙂 I bought her this butterfly that you can attach to a picture or something and a white bird that says “Love, hope, peace” or something like that and you can hang it on the wall. It’s so pretty 🙂 By far my favorite shop EVER! It has so much nice bird stuff and vintage looking and ahhh it’s sooo lovely!!! Anyway, I’m babbling on..

City, Hiragana, Japan, Japanese, Kanju, Language, Learning, motivation, practice, quiz

After a long read of I don’t know how many pages last night on http://www.textfugu.com I am finally ready to start learning Hiragana. I have an app on my phone with Kanji quizes on it.. and I am litrally addicted! 😀 You should probably learn Hiragana first. Which I am. But, at the same time Kanji. In between classes at school I just click onto it and do a quiz and am over-joyed when I get 100%. I really have to learn Hiragana now though. It looks really easy but there are A LOT of ‘letters’ to learn, but you’ve got to start somewhere right? I just think about how much fun it’s going to be being able to speak it to my friends and going to Japan :)! So now, I am waiting for an email and then I will go and learn! I will keep you up to date! I mean… imagine going here:

WOW!!!!

Decisions decisions:D Do you remember the dream I told you about? The one in Japan?
Well, yesterday Peta and I were on our way home and we were talking about it. Peta and Becca thought it might be a Prophecy. So maybe it is and some of the things such as the baby matches what people have said 🙂 I was learning Kanji. I know you should maybe start with Hiragana first but the pictures making words sounded awesome! So first I got 66% then 86%, 94% then by the time I got to school I got 100% on the little tests you get. I thought that was cool anyway 😀  So I think I’ll give it a go 🙂 Having friends who speak it helps so I don’t have to do it all by myself. It’s sounds like fun to me. Everyone speaks English and French but Japanese is a more unusual language for people to speak so that makes it more interesting 🙂
