I know this is 2 days late but bare with me, I just came to So Coco today. Oh, and now, the manager knows me because of my hat. What a legend!

So, I guess your all just dying to know what we got up to in Glasgow. Well, I woke up at 04.30 and Rachael at 05.00. It was easier than I thought to wake her. We left at about 06.10 to walk to the bus stop. The first bus was boltic! We almost missed our bus from Perth… because, we didn’t know if it was the London bus we had to take but luckily I ended up asking. The seemed miserable that’s why we were hesitating. The second bus was Mega Bus and it was lovely and warm, with Wifi! score! In Glasgow we met Peta and headed on our church adventures.

Lets just say, we basically had a tour around the whole of Erskine… we resorted to asking in a HUGE Hotel that looked like Downton Abbey… seriously. We came in with our winter coats, jeans and boots while they were wearing tartan posh trousers. Pretty much felt like an outsider in there. I would have came back with photographic evidence but had to head straight back to find church. Now, what we found out was that One Direction and Kylie Minogue etc stayed in this hotel when they came… ok.. thats why we felt like outsiders haha! Eventually, we found the church. It was so cute! Tuns of little kids :’) AND Banana cake!!

So at church they sermon was on An Unexpected Journey. There were three points:

1) To expect the unexpected.
God loves to do things unexpectedly. For example, in Acts 9:1-19 Saul was the least likely candidate.. he was guilty of breathing our murderous threats and was going to get permission to wipe out all Christians. He had done so much harm. Who would have thought he’d be used by God? We know that, if Saul can be saved, anyone can!

2) Place of prayer.
Does it tell us that Saul was already a man of prayer?
When something unexpected happened in his life, he prayed like never before.
When we start to pray from our hearts, God will speak. Sometime, things don’t change just like that. Sometimes, they take time and we just have to have faith in the fact that God starts to work even if we can’t see it straight away. Prayer isn’t just essential, its vital. Its a matter of life and death.

3) Empowering of the Spirit.
In verse 8, something happened immediately when he was filled with the holy spirit. When we’re filled with the holy spirit and our vision can be renewed. Perhaps if your struggling with where God wants you, you might need to be filled afresh because God has an incredible plan for you. That involves experiencing the unexpected with God.

Church was so good 🙂 After church, we journeyed to the city center and done a little bit of shopping. We spent the most time in Forever 21 because they don’t have that where we live so it was cool! We have just the best fashion sense.. (All will become clear soon.) In the city center there was a cute cafe hidden away. They sold high tea so that’s what we had 🙂 And, hot milk with honey and nutmeg. Delicious! After high tea, we wondered for a bit and took many pictures with mine and Petas mascot, Custard. (Again, all will become clear soon;) ) and then we headed to Petas hotel to charge and phones and chill out a little bit before Nandos. One thing I learned was that I don’t think I will ever ever be able to be a spicy food eating person. I thought the mild one was a bit spicy and when I tried the medium sauce, I downed my apple juice and had to rush to get a glass of water. Madness! 😀

Anyway, here are some pictures of our day (In no order)  We always make such wonderful memories. I love you Peta!!! Miss you already!

This morning I woke up later than I thought I would. Not that much later, about 8.30. Fifteen minuets later, I receive a snapchat. A Snapchat from Becca saying she’s off to Jesus Culture. I am so excited for them because I imagine its going to be awesome but I’m sad I’m not going. Peta, I can’t wait to read your blog post about it!!

So once Rachael got up we cycled to Asda on a doughnut hunt for going to the garden. We found some.. and also came out of the shop with Yum yums and fruit too! I’ll show you some of the pictures I took 🙂

Sunday was our last day in Germany. Our flight was not till 10(ish)pm so we still had until about 4.30pm before we had to catch the train to Munich airport. I spent the morning packing. Packing is especially difficult because I only had the maximum hand luggage for 3 weeks. I managed though! For Lunch Oma and Opa came for lunch at a restaurant in Hohenpeissenberg. It was so delicious and my last Bavarian meal for this year.

Afterwards, we went back to Oma Ritas and then Opa took us to Weilheim train station. So we hopped onto the train. It was roasting! I don’t mean the roasting where you have to just take off your cardigan. I mean the roasting that someone was Dehydrated in the train, they had to call an ambulance and we were all hanging our heads out the windows to get the little bit of cold breeze. Dad luckily knew that the train near us was also heading to Munich so we made a lucky escape before we melted 😀 I think it was an older train and had no air conditioning.

When we arrived at the airport I went into Muller to buy some German chocolate to add to my collection of gifts for my friends because well, I did have chocolate but it melted 😀
We went to security and I was so happy that I didn’t get ‘beeped’. My dad emptied his pockets, had to take his shoes and belt off etc and then he found a 20 cent in his pocket haha! They said for him just to go through but in the end he did get ‘beeped’.
We arrived at our gate and sat next to a lady in a wheelchair. She was hilarious and had such a funny sense of humor. Definitely made our plane delay more joyous.
I saw a lady sitting reading. I think it was a bible. I’m pretty sure it was. She had a big hand luggage hand bag and her bible with a blue cover in her hand. Every half an hour you hear microphone voices saying ‘All luggage and important belongings must be looked after at all times’ or something along those lines. She left her hand bag on her chair and just walked about with her book, that’s all. No phone, no camera, nothing. Her bible was the most important thing she owned. I thought that was cool! 🙂

Anyway, after our 30 minute delay we strolled slowly onto the plane. By this time it was 10.30pm and I was about to fall asleep on the spot. When I thought I might be able to rest a group of Glaswegian loud teenagers decided to sit in front of me. I was not happy! Mind you, sometimes they did make me smile but most of the time I was just annoyed because I was super tired. We landed in Edinburgh around midnight and caught a taxi to pick up our car. We arrived at the car and it wouldn’t start. The battery died. The only thing we could do apart from calling the taxi at midnight to give us a jump start was roll down the hill behind us and hope for the best. All going well the car would start and it did! I went straight to bed when we got the my dads friends house.

Today we traveled back to Inverness. It took us a while longer because we stopped for a lunch break. When I came home I unpacked and then decided I needed tissue paper for peoples gifts so when It stopped raining and I cycled to Asda. Without a jacked. Stupid idea 😀 It started pouring half way to Asda. I should’ve known but I just cycled really fast and came into Asda drenched. But I got my tissue paper lol!!
Then, Rachael came to my house and we hung out for a while and caught up with all we’ve missed the past 3 weeks.

I really enjoyed Germany as always and I am so excited for my up coming travels in December 🙂

P.s If you haven’t read. I am starting a new strategy soon. Here are the ideas: https://journeythroughlife15.wordpress.com/2013/07/08/new-ideas/ feel free to comment inf you haven’t already given me any feedback about it 😉
