Wow. This is just beautiful:)
Imagine is a camp in Aberdeen it is one of my favorite places in the world. Right now I am missing it so much because I didn’t go last year and I’m not going this year. I go with Youth Group which is always a laugh. There are seminars to go to during the day and In the morning and evenings there are meetings with worship which everyone goes to. I even take my cushion in the morning, they make you feel at home 😀 In your free time you can go to the Prayer Tent, talent show, movies and the skate park. A couple of my friends and I love to long board (which I must start again since it’s warmer now, but mine is huge:P )
There are also terrible things like having a river flowing through your tent and having to shower in cubicles where you dry your self in puddles. But I know that Imagine brings me closer to God. You are in an environment with teenagers around your age that are all Christians and that’s encouraging.
I wish I could live at Imagine 😀
Well I wouldn’t call it a roll… yet!
A couple of friends and I have been going running . Today we went on a shorter run and the not wonderful rain came out and decided to soak us all. But, we kept going! Although I did slow down at times (because I’m a short distance runner. You might not think it by how slow I run long distance but I’m the fastest girl in my year for short distance, so just need to practice long distance:) )
It’s fun with friends, you can laugh at each others hilarious looking facial expressions when you have the I can’t go on any longer moments and also chat and then you don’t really realize that your running at all.
I want to try and go running a bit in the mornings:D Yes all the teenagers out there, I am going to get up even earlier to get all ready go for a run and come home to a lovely breakfast. I’m sorry but that sounds good to me! If it’s not windy and raining that is:) In the morning there is no one else around and everything is so quit, it’s nice I think 🙂
Now, this is an achievement I just can not make smoothies… but today before going out for a run I decided that I would try. And… it didn’t turn out disgusting but still a bit of work to do. It sounds like the easiest thing, get some fruit you like cut it and put it in the mixer with milk and yogurt. Ohh but nooooo this has proved a challenge for me:D
Today was such a sunny day and so, I decided to wear my dress. Most of us will have the dress that’s flowy and perfect for summer. It’s not yet summer but I made it a bit more wintery (if that’s even a word) with some red tights. After church I was invited to go to Nairn Beach with the usual people that you have probably heard of a million times (Becca, Louise, Matt, Rachael, Peta and I) Now, tights are not the best when I want to go bare feet in the sand so I sadly had to resort to leggings. Anyway, the beach was lovely. Becca and I had a few hair all over our face so we couldn’t see moments and almost getting blown away moments but all in all it was beautiful. After our venture in Nairn Tesco is always a winner when yummy fajitas are needed so we went into Tesco in the glorious weather and when we came out (literally 10 minuets later) It was pouring with rain… We came back and drank as always plentiful cups of tea and ate fajitas. We played Monopoly:) Becca won!!:) It was great!
Here are some Beach pictures:
p.s ohhh and we had a Skype call with Rachaels brother in Japan, it was hilarious!
Today we went to the wonderful Dores breakfast. French toast with of course maple syrup is just delicious. It’s nearly 5pm now so the French toast is very filling 🙂 After that we went on a road trip and found a sweet shop and a gift shop. Another gift shop I love. I bought a cute purse with Roses on it. I love it. We came home and made a video (You may have seen it on my blog) and we’re watching Mean Girls. That’s our day so far:)
So, today was a lovely day at school… until I got to lunch and I needed the toilet (lovely story right?:D) anyway, long story short my phone fell in… first I panicked and realized it was still working so somehow I had to get it out… so I did. Yuck. It was still buzzing and giving me updates. I washed my hands extremely well and walked outside to tell my friend the news. She just laughed. We both laughed then I thought I’d better dry it. I am always prepared with tissues and so I tried my best to dry it. I took it all apart because there was still 2 hours of school so I couldn’t put it in rice yet. At home, I put it in rice. I checked if it was still working and it was but it was a bit confused and doing all sorts of stuff. I really don’t know if it’s going to work…. It will be a disaster if it doesn’t…
1. I still owe my Dad money for it.
2. I won’t have a phone
3. I will get into trouble (haven’t told my Dad yet)
Ahh well… I pray it does.
I descovered a new tea! Now.. This is incredible for me I never normally like anything but as I call it “Normal” tea. I think it’s called Brittish tea or something? Anyway, while I was in Germany my Uncles girlfriend let me taste her tea and I thought it was so yummy. So now I have some of my own:) I don’t like fruit tea’s or anything but I like this and I want to taste Green Tea because it’s healthy but by the sound of it I’m not sure I’d like it. I just thought I’d tell you my new descovery:D
Well it wasn’t really a spree but today after school I went to town with my friend. I needed to buy birthday presents for two of my friends. Rachael loved so many bags and I was trying my best not to buy anything I didn’t need. Which was very successful. I bought a vest top, deodrant, breakfast bars and moisturiser which I needed. We walked into an American candy shop and wanted to buy every sweet and had to drag Rachael out the shop 😀 In Primark I saw one of my friends she said to me “remember when I used to wear really girly clothes? Well i’m trying to get that back.” I replied “ahh that’s good! Like your bright yellow outfit:D” (we knew what we were talking about. She came running to me and said “Lisa Lisa do you have 20p??” “yeea of course:)” I replied. She was so so happy that she could buy these shoes and it made me super happy to see her like that because clearly she was in a good mood again wanting to buy nice new girly clothes. She hugged me and shouted Thank you and that just made my day that I helped someone with the slightest thing and she was happy:)
After school today four of us went out for a run or more of a walk for Becca and I. We walked to the end of the road and Becca and I already almost died. We decided to walk for the majority of it while Rachael and Peta ran pretty much all the way. It will get better soon:) Becca and I stumbled in the door so proud that we made it back while everyone else was already eating dinner and writing emails. Apparently we are going to run Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays… Wish me luck! I am going to bed soon so i’ll end this short post here. Goodnight 🙂
